A China Southern Airlines plane became the latest victim of the country's freak storms, while it was trying to land at China's Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport on Saturday.
According to China Aviation Daily, pilots for the domestic flight CZ3483 from Guangzhou were preparing for landing when they met with a hailstorm in midair.
The aircraft managed to land safely in the end, but passengers were shocked when they disembarked to see the damage the storm did to the plane.

Judging from the pictures posted on social media, the front of the plane took the biggest hit with the cockpit windshield smashed and its nose had multiple dents. Read more...
