AUSTIN, TEXAS — Braava jet is Roomba's second, affordable act
In the 14 years since iRobot first introduced its Roomba robot home vacuum, the price and size of the super-intelligent home appliance has ballooned to almost unwieldy proportions and a near $900 price tag
Today, iRobot hit the reset and unveiled the bright, tiny, smart Braava jet mopping robot, and it costs just $199. That happens to be the original price of the first Roomba, even though the Braava jet looks nothing like it.
Clad in white plastic with blue accents, the diminutive Braava jet is just 6.7 inches long, 7.0 inches wide and 3.3 inches tall. It's also light, weighing just 2.7 pounds with its battery installed. Read more...
