About 750 flights within Germany and Europe have been canceled because of a strike by Lufthansa pilots.
Cancelations are coming to more flights on Thursday, when the Vereinigung Cockpit union plans to extend the strike to long haul flights.
The strike is the latest in a string of walkouts. About 80,000 passengers were affected Wednesday, according to the airline.
The dispute between the union and the airline centers on the airline's plans to cut transition payments for pilots wanting to retire early, which the union wants to see maintained. Read more...
