Boeing takes sides in the Super Bowl

And, not surprisingly, they’re cheering for the hometown team, the Seahawks. Yesterday they introduced a new paint job on one of their spare 747-8F aircraft dedicated to the Seahawks, including a giant “12″ painted on the tail representing the twelfth man fan presence.

Today they’re taking that plane for a spin, painting a giant “12″ over Washington State this afternoon.

Plus, a fun infographic about the plane and the team:

Glad to see that they’re having fun with the game this week, though I do have some concerns about the part where they have spare 748F aircraft sitting around and the time to paint them and fly them.

It is an awesome paint job though.
