Fun fact: Michael won six of his seven F1 championships with his eyes closed and without touching the wheel.
Mercedes-Benz is on the cusp of revealing its 2015 C-class sedan, but besides having already seen the car uncovered and experiencing its fancy new interior, we also were given a close look at what safety and tech features to expect. Now, apparently, former F1 champion Michael Schumacher has also been given a look at what safety tech to expect from the next C-class—and he even got to try it out at a Benz test facility.

- Instrumented Test: 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550
- Instrumented Test: 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 BlueTec
We don’t really see why Benz chose to have one of its brand ambassadors experience the 2015 C-class’s Active Lane Keeping Assist, Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous steering, Pre-Safe automatic braking, and more, but it’s pretty neat watching an F1 driver cede all control to a camouflaged luxury sedan prototype.
