A Wing Of A British Airways 747 Collided With A Building At Johannesburg Airport

On Sunday night, one of the wings of a British Airways 747 collided with a building at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.

It appears that British Airways flight 0034 was taxiing, and one of its wings collided with a brick building that lies along the taxiway.

An airport spokesperson confirmed that the aircraft was damaged and that all passengers will be spending the night in Johannesburg. However, the spokesperson did not confirm that there were no injuries, but British Airways has confirmed that there were no injuries.

In a statement, British Airways also confirmed that the aircraft was damaged and that “Customers disembarked safely and were looked after by our staff.” They also said that they “have launched a full investigation into the incident and

It remains unclear what the building is for.
