First 787 battery test flight completed

First 787 battery test flight completed:

The first 787 flight test dedicated to solving the battery problem that has grounded the fleet for more than three weeks just touchdown back at Boeing Field. The crew on 787 test aircraft ZA005 has been busy collecting environmental data on the battery and electrical system at a variety of airspeeds. According to tracking data from Flightaware.com the flight has been conducted at 35,000 ft but with several variations in airspeed to alter electrical load conditions. 
Takeoff was at 12.32 pm Pacific and the return time was extended to 2.51 pm allow testing to continue over the Puget Sound and Olympic Penninsula.
