We previously brought you the goods on tuner Mugen’s de-boringified Honda CR-Z, which the shop supercharged to produce 197 hp, and now we have video of it scooting about some curvy blacktop. Even though the video is overlaid with a bumping techno rhythm, you can just hear the Mugen CR-Z’s exhaust note, which sounds much more purposeful than the standard car’s angry-vacuum drone. Honda UK’s YouTube video also describes the 0-to-60 time of an early Mugen CR-Z prototype in “mid-tune” as “around that of the Civic Type R.” You can watch the CR-Z—which we won’t be getting here in the states—tear up some European B-roads in the video below.
