A American student has build a 8-bit computer, with self coded OS, all by himself. It has 256 bytes RAM and 64KB storage capacity. The teenager, called Jack Eisenmann, build everything from the very beginning, including the mainboard. The Duo Adept contains about 100 TTL-chips. A traditional keyboard is used for input, and the output is shown on a black/white screen with a resolution of 240×208 pixels. The OS is called ‘Duo OS’, which can boot in just one second. It can run a few games, like Pong and Muffin. The hardware is kept in a plastic box and appears to be powered by just 3 AA batteries. Video after the break.
