Here's something you don't hear often: a former Singapore Airlines 747-200 has been refurbished and turned into a hostel. The Jumbo Stay, as its called, is a 25-room hostel with dorm rooms replete with bunk beds and overhead luggage compartments. Those rooms will run you about $52 a night, while the cockpit suite and its runway views go for $500. Expect more of these to pop up around the world in the near future. [news.com.au]
